Meet Mrs. McCormick
It is hard to believe this is my seventeenth year at the South Elementary School. I am
excited to be teaching fourth grade after teaching fifth grade for 16 years and I'm looking forward to another
wonderful year. Prior to teaching at the South, I spent a year at the Dawe
School as an aide in the Therapeutic Learning Center. I enjoy teaching in
Stoughton and am grateful to belong to such a caring, strong knit community.

Childhood
I grew up in the small town of Rehoboth, MA. I have two younger sisters, Laura
and Kristina. My family is a very important part of my life and I love telling stories about them. I participated in many sports growing up including softball, soccer, field hockey, and dance. My favorite thing to do was play school in my basement. Being a teacher has always been my dream!

Education
I'm a proud graduate of Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School. I worked hard to put myself through school at Framingham State College. I graduated in 2006 with a co-ordinate major in Elementary Education and English Language Arts. I furthered my education at Lesley University graduating in 2009 with a masters degree in Special Education.
Current Day
I live in Mansfield with my husband, Mr. McCormick and my daughter, Robyn. We usually spend our evenings discussing our day, watching football or Paw Patrol together. I enjoy playing outside or dancing in my living room with Robyn. I love attending sporting events to cheer on our home teams. Reading is another hobby of mine. My favorite series is "The Heroes of Olympus" series by Rick Riordan.
Teaching is my life. I love coming to school everyday. I am very grateful to have an opportunity to work with such wonderful co-workers, students and parents. I am excited for another fabulous school year!
